Waste Gas Treatment In Agricultural Industry

The following is a detailed plan for the RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer) equipment for the treatment of spraying and drying waste gas in the agricultural industry of Qingdao. It is explained in combination with the treatment capacity, material characteristics and industry requirements:

1.Core configuration of the equipment

(1) Concentration rotor system (processing 240,000m³/h)

Zeolite rotor: Made of hydrophobic zeolite (suitable for high-humidity waste gas)

Diameter: 3.5-4m (designed based on air volume)

Zoning: Adsorption zone (200℃), desorption zone (200-220℃), cooling zone

Concentration ratio: 20:1 (Concentrate 240,000 m³/h to 12,000m³/h)

Pre-filter

Three-stage filtration: G4 primary efficiency +F7 medium efficiency + activated carbon layer

Fan Variable-frequency centrifugal fan

(2) RTO incineration system (processing 12,000m³/h)

Furnace structure: Three-tower design (preheating zone, combustion zone, cooling zone)

Material: 304 stainless steel inner liner + ceramic fiber insulation layer (temperature resistance 1200℃)

Combustion chamber: Temperature 800-850℃

Heat storage medium: Ceramic honeycomb body (heat recovery rate ≥95%)

Gas system: Low-nitrogen burner (natural gas consumption is approximately 50-80 nm ³/h, adjusted according to concentration)

(3) Auxiliary system

Gas-gas heat exchanger: Preheat the 300℃ exhaust gas at the RTO outlet to 150℃

Chimney: Height ≥15m, with an internal online monitoring port

Control system: PLC+ touch screen, integrating real-time monitoring and alarm of temperature, pressure and VOCs concentration

2. Key points of targeted design

Spray exhaust gas treatment

Paint mist pretreatment: A dry filter box is used to remove particulate matter to prevent clogging of the zeolite rotor.

Component adaptation: For VOCs such as benzene series and esters, the RTO temperature setting needs to be higher than their autoignition point

Characteristics of drying exhaust gas

High-temperature intake: The drying exhaust gas usually contains 80-120℃ residual heat. The exhaust gas is preheated and concentrated through a heat exchanger to reduce energy consumption.

Humidity control: In the high-humidity environment along the coast of Qingdao, the zeolite rotor needs to be designed to prevent condensation.
