Location: Shenzhen, China (for a German enterprise)
Application: Treatment of high-salinity wastewater containing sodium chloride (NaCl) and sodium sulfate (Na₂SO₄)
Evaporator Type: Pretreatment + Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) Evaporation System
Evaporation Capacity: 1.6 tons/hour
Final Concentration: Crystallization (achieving solid salt separation)
Main Material: TA2 (Titanium Grade 2, excellent corrosion resistance for high-salinity and chloride environments)
1.System Description:
This MVR evaporation system integrates pretreatment and mechanical vapor recompression technology to efficiently treat high-salinity wastewater with NaCl and Na₂SO₄. The system is designed for energy-saving operation, utilizing waste heat recovery to minimize steam consumption.
2.Key Features:
Pretreatment Stage:
Removes suspended solids, oils, and other impurities to prevent scaling and fouling in the evaporator.
May include pH adjustment, filtration, or chemical softening based on wastewater characteristics.
MVR Evaporation Process:
Energy Efficiency: The MVR compressor recycles secondary steam, compresses it, and reuses it as heating steam, reducing energy consumption by up to 90% compared to traditional evaporators.
Forced Circulation (Optional): Ensures stable evaporation even with high scaling tendencies.
Automatic Control: PLC-based system for real-time monitoring of temperature, pressure, and concentration.
Crystallization & Separation:
Concentrated brine is further evaporated until salt crystals (NaCl/Na₂SO₄) form.
A centrifuge or filter press separates crystals from the mother liquor.
Corrosion-Resistant Construction:
TA2 (Titanium Grade 2) is used for heat exchangers, evaporator bodies, and piping to withstand aggressive saline and sulfate environments.
Environmental Benefits:
Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD): Produces reusable water and solid salts, minimizing wastewater discharge.
Low Carbon Footprint: MVR technology significantly reduces thermal energy requirements.
3.Applications:
Industrial wastewater treatment (chemical, pharmaceutical, electroplating, etc.)
Salt recovery & brine concentration
ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) compliance
This system ensures high efficiency, low operating costs, and long-term durability, making it ideal for harsh saline wastewater treatment.
